The Docuware Connect to SAP interface is a DocuWare product developed by Varelmann. The interface enables seamless integration between SAP systems and DocuWare.

Connect to SAP Version 2 is certified by SAP and DocuWare. The interface allows SAP business objects to be linked with archived documents and enables access from SAP at any time. Following its success in the SAP ERP ECC environment, SAP has also certified the second version of our interface for S/4HANA systems. This provides a future-proof ECM solution integrated into SAP.

Modular extensions

As developers of the DocuWare interface, we have endeavored to supplement it with additional modular extensions in order to increase the benefits for customers.

Document Indexing

With the Document Indexing extension, you can quickly index documents in the Docuware system. and in real time with data from SAP in real time. This is particularly helpful if you want to index documents consistently and search directly in DocuWare according to SAP criteria.

Document Link

The document Link extension allows you to automatically create links between documents in the DocuWare system and SAP processes. For example, you can automatically link documents to the order process in SAP based on a recognized order number. It is also possible to start workflow tasks in your SAP system for documents in the DocuWare system.

Document Viewer

The document Viewer extension offers you a powerful way to display documents linked to SAP processes directly in the DocuWare Web Client. This gives you direct access to all relevant information stored in DocuWare and allows you to directly continue working with the document.

Simple Invoice

The Simple Invoice extension offers you the possibility to optimize your invoice receipt andapproval process beyond DocuWare into the SAP system. Invoice data extracted and released in DocuWare is transferred to the SAP system and proposed for posting in the standard transactions FB01, FB60 and MIRO that you are familiar with. This saves time and reduces errors and manual workload.

Archive Transfer

With the Archive Transfer you can replace any “old file cabinets” and migrate them to DocuWare. For this purpose, the standardArchiveLink-functions of the SAP system to read documents from legacy archives and archive them to DocuWare. One of the advantages over options in the SAP standard is the logging and traceability of the migration. In addition, selective migration is possible in partial steps and unnoticed by the end user during operation.

Integrity Control (OHNE Barcode Erweiterung)

The Integrity Control program enables an automated check of your archiving. On the one hand, it checks whether all documents that should be archived according to customizing have actually been archived. In addition, documents that have already been archived are checked to see whether they are still available and accessible in the archive. All audits are recorded and can thus be presented to the auditor as evidence.
